FakeTools (faketools.in) is a free developer toolkit providing disposable email, JSON Data generation, password generation and UUID generation tools. FakeTools is operated by an individual developer based in India.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data You Generate (Tool Output)

When you use FakeTools generators — JSON test data, password, UUID or disposable email — the generated data is created on demand and never stored on our servers beyond your active session. When your session ends or expires, all generated data is permanently deleted with no record retained.

2.2 Temporary Email Inbox Data

When you generate a disposable email address, a temporary inbox is created on our mail server. Any emails received in that inbox are stored temporarily until your session expires (25 minutes). After expiry, the inbox and all emails are permanently and irrecoverably deleted.

2.3 Analytics Data (Google Analytics / Firebase)

We use Google Analytics (via Firebase) to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymized data including:

• 📊Pages visited and time spent on each page
• 🌍Approximate geographic location (country/city level)
• 💻Device type, browser and operating system
• 🔗Referring website or search engine

This data is anonymized — it cannot be used to identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

2.4 Server Logs

Our web server automatically records standard access logs including IP addresses, request timestamps and pages accessed. These logs are used for security monitoring and debugging purposes only and are retained for a maximum of 30 days.
